This is an actual yard sale, not a virtual one. The sales are generally outside each individual family’s house or home. In some cases, neighbors get together and host a group yard sale. Sellers may set up tables or place items onto blankets, tarps, or on the ground. Sellers may elect to pre-mark their items with prices, or name a price at the time of sale. Self-advertising notifications are sometimes seen in advance of the sale (FB or Nextdoor). Common items include clothing, furniture, toys, window treatments, and sporting equipment. Early-bird sales (before 8 AM) are not encouraged.
